Race Day!

Photos from my first 5K. 

It was so much fun. We finished in 43 minutes, with 8 of those being standing in line for pictures with the characters and they told us to subtract 4 minutes for the slow start(but I think it was only about 1 or 2 minutes to get out and around people and going).

So, our total time was probably around 33-35 minutes. Which killed my estimated time of 38-40 minutes! Yay!    

There were all these kids running the race and they were so good. Seriously, passing us like it was no problem. haha Overall, I feel like I did really good. We ran every bit that we weren’t waiting in line and it was so amazing to see all the Disney workers out cheering us on as we ran. I loved every second of that run. 

They have the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10 Miler Weekend…and I’m very tempted to sign up. I know it’s 10 miles and a big goal, but the 5k was just so much fun. And the race isn’t until September.
